Garden(s) of Hope

Young folks not only in urban areas quite often have lost contact with nature and mother earth. We have initiated with the support of Michigan Lutheran Family and Child Service and the Agricultural Extension Service of the Michigan State University to start and maintain an urban garden project for socially and otherwise challenged teenagers in the area of Pontiac, MI.

A similar project is being developed with Community Family Life Service in Washington DC for a public housing project; other garden projects of different scope are planned in Atlanta and Dallas.
